Governance
LATAZ is led by the National Executive Committee made up of Seventeen Members. All are members of the association and volunteers. The National Executive Committee is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the association and the implementation of all its teacher and pupil activities.

Eight of these members are elected by the LATAZ membership at the Elective National Conference while the local language editors are recommended by regional language blocks (Provinces).

LATAZ has a National Council which is the superior policy-making body. It approves the strategic plans and policies proposed by the National Executive Committee. The National Council consists of the following members.

The National Council approves plans and policies and adopts reports and constitutional amendments. LATAZ organising committees at provincial and district levels which implement association activities and prepare reports at their levels of jurisdictions for administrative convenience.
